The Community Help Center of Trousdale County has set goals for itself of helping
the needy and those in emergency situations with food boxes from its food bank, clothing from its clothing store, and household items.
In May of 1993, our journey began with the heartfelt efforts of a group of concerned citizens who came together to establish the Community Help Center of Trousdale County.
Driven by the recognition of a pressing need to support those struggling with hunger and clothing, they created a program to offer assistance. At that time, no other organization in the county was fulfilling these essential needs, and their collective action laid the foundation for a lasting impact on the community.
Our mission is to support families and individuals in meeting their essential daily needs by providing food, clothing, and referrals to other crucial services. Through donations of clothing and household goods, we operate a thrift store to fund and sustain these efforts, supplementing monetary donations from the community.
